Prior to becoming a Physician Associate Kelsey was a Research Microbiologist gaining a Masters in Medical Microbiology from The London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine. She researched the Pathology of Zika Virus using genetic analysis techniques during the 2015 outbreak in Brazil.
Since qualifying as a Physician Associate, Kelsey has worked at the quarantine facility at Arrowe Park Hospital as the on-site medic for the guests from the Cruise ships during the start of the COVID Pandemic. Following this, Kelsey has set up COVID hubs across the Wirral. This included training staff in PPE aseptic techniques to prevent contamination.
Kelsey’s interests within GP include Mental Health.
