Patient Information And Resources

Welcome to the patient section of the site. The aim of the section is to provide patients with an area of the site that looks at their thoughts and concerns about the practice.

There is a comments box, which means patients can easily post comments about the practice to help improve our services further.

You can also look at registering for the practice through the
New Patient Registration page.

The following patient information leaflets are available for you to view. Click on the links below to open these Adobe Reader documents in a new browser window.

Disabled Access

Access to the surgery by disabled persons can be gained using the ramp and handrail provided at the front entrance. A waiting room and 7 of the surgeries are on the ground floor. High Pastures also provides toilet facilities for the disabled.

Removal of Patients

Please note: the Practice retains the right to remove patients who frequently do not attend for appointments. The Practice also reserve the right to remove violent or abusive patients from its list and will do so in writing in line with NHS and South Sefton Primary Care Trust Policy.

Due to an increase in the number of wasted appointments through patient's failing to attend without informing the surgery it has become necessary to implement the following policy:

If you repeatedly fail to attend appointments you may be removed from the practice list and required to find an alternative GP surgery.

If you cannot attend your appointments for any reason please let us know as soon as possible.

Publication of GP Net Earnings

All GP practices are required to declare the mean earnings for GPs working to deliver NHS services to patients at each practice.

The mean earnings for GPs working in High Pastures Surgery in the financial year ended 31st March 2019 was £88,872 before deduction of employee's superannuation contributions, tax and National Insurance. This is the average pay for the 3 full-time GPs, 4 part-time GPs who worked in the practice for more than 6 months during that year.

Thank you for your co-operation
