Emergency Dental Treatment
If you need dental treatment in an emergency call your dentist: some practices offer appointments at short notice if you don't have a dentist, find one using NHS 111 look up urgent care services that provide dental treatment. If you need to see a dentist out of hours call your dentist: their answerphone may advise where to get out-of-hours treatment call NHS 111 to find an out-of-hours dental service near you.
Don't contact your GP, as they won't be able to offer emergency or out-of-hours dental care.
Local dental providers offer NHS Urgent Dental Clinics across Cheshire and Merseyside with urgent appointments for patients who need urgent treatment, advice and support on dental queries or referral to other services.

Free NHS Treatment for anxiety, depression and other common mental health conditions
Everyone goes through difficult times, but sometimes our problems affect our day-to-day lives and we may feel that we can’t cope. If you are in this situation, you’re not alone.
Talking Matters Sefton is a free, confidential service, commissioned by the NHS. The service is available to anyone aged 16+ and registered with a Sefton* GP. Access Sefton talking therapies are an effective treatment for common mental health conditions, including anxiety, depression, stress, phobia, obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD), post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) and panic. Treatments available in Sefton include guided self-help, cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) and counselling.
*Sefton includes Crosby, Blundellsands, Waterloo, Seaforth, Litherland, Netherton, Bootle, Maghull, Hightown, Formby, Ainsdale, Birkdale, and Southport.
